However, two recent events raises some concerns as the current direction of our Association's board. They are: (1) the unwillingness of the Association to replant a tree they decided to remove as it was deeded dead due to the lack of adequate funds; and (2) movement to attempt to make the property smoke-free.
The lack of funds to replant a fallen tree is inexcusable as the Board should better determine its fiscal policies. Also, the Board's desire to make the property smoke-free intrudes on the very foundation of our founding nation and its history. Furthermore, if the latter is approved by the Association, how will it enforce such rule and at what costs to the Association and its inhabitants.
